Today at camp we made putty, and it was squishy! We also made color wheels, and learned about the similarities and differences between whales and sharks!

Kindercamp – Session 1

Today at camp we learned how to balance bean bags and played a game with hula hoops! In Science we learned about how we hear outside and took a tour of the PJCC to listen to different sounds, and then played games in the garden!

Kindercamp – Session 1

Today was our first field trip of the summer! At the tech museum, we got to play with robots that we built. Those of us feeling adventurous, tried out the earthquake simulator!

Today at camp we learned to code and program drones to land on a target circle! We also played with the BB-8 drone for the first time and made a movie of how drones can save the world!

Sense-able Science

Today at camp we visited the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco! We saw a lot of butterflies, plants, and fish. We even got to meet Claude the albino alligator!

Sense-able Science

Today at camp we learned a lot about our eyes and all their functions—we even watched a really cool video about cones and rods! To finish up the day, we used our observational skills in the garden!

Intro to Drones

Today at camp we all took turns playing different roles of navigator, scout, pilot, and engineer! We used parrot and sphere drones and ran obstacle courses, recording our times in our log books.

Kindercamp – Session 1

Today at camp we made delicious scrolls and played lots of different games in Sports—we even got to play in an obstacle course! Then we made mosaics in Art and learned how to make different types of bridges in Science!

Intro to Drones

Today at camp we learned how to control drones that fly and roll! We also got to complete an obstacle course using parrot drones!

Sense-able Science

Today at camp we experimented with dry ice, and turned fruit juice into soda while learning about liquids, solids, and gasses! Then we went all the way out to the stars, learning about our solar system and planets!
