We began our day by building with cardboard. Each piece of cardboard had a slit and the children had to connect the cardboard pieces by placing one cardboard piece inside the other cardboard piece. We then made the color green together by mixing yellow and blue colors in a big zip lock bag. The children seemed more interested in playing and painting with q tips so we grabbed some paper and painted in green.
On Monday we visited the garden, watered, and learned a little about trees. In class we pretended to be trees, we started out as tiny seeds and our bodies grew into big tall trees. Everyone also had the chance to share what kind of tree they would like to plant. Don’t forget Tuesday is our family movie night at 6:30. Wednesday is swim day, bring a towel and change of clothes.
Today we had fun playing at the water table outside and hanging from the monkey bars with our friends.
We were very active today! We played on the monkey bars, the play structure, the sandbox, and the bike yard during our yard time. We also had a lot of fun at swim time. The pool is always fun to play and swim in!
Today we enjoyed playing in a new spot outside. We also continued our rock art project with Teacher Lisa and started a new art project with Teacher Tal. She took us out to find branches to be used for a class tree art project.
We went swimming again today with the Lavan class! They practiced more kicking, putting our faces in the water and using our “wands” to make rainbows in the water.
We started our day playing at the new water table, then we painted, and lastly we had PE.
The Adom group had a great time in the yard this morning playing at the new water table. After snack we had PE with Teacher Mark where we jumped around and had free play with music and movement before lunch.
It was sensory day at Kahol room today! We had a soil gardening bin, a rice bin with scoops and treasures hiding and a water bin for fun and splashing! Our campers had a blast exploring and touching/smelling/hearing everything around them! Teacher Mark had a really fun day planned for us, we did hoops, balls and balanced all around the MPR! Wednesday will be extra fun as we have an even messier and more exiting day planned for our kiddos!
Our day started with Challah making- children could add cinnamon and raisins if they chose. They also had the option to glue sea creatures to their water color pictures from Monday. We visited Teacher Mark for PE. He played a lot of hula hoop games, including one where their hoop was an island and they ran around their island pretending to be different animals. We used all our extra energy in the bounce house. It was a full Friday!
