Today At Camp

The Lavan class had a blast celebrating superhero day! We had some awesome Batmans, Supermans, Spider-Man’s, and Princesses. We also made our own custom masks as a class. They had fun coloring and using stickers to decorate! We also had a chance to use the big blue blocks on the playground! Super fun!

Today we played with blocks and animals.  Then we created special sensory bottles that we filled shells and other small items.

Today we painted masterpieces, danced around the room, and read stories during circle time.

What a fun day we had at Kahol room today! Our friends did a fruit and plant mural, we stamped leafs and apricots on a large paper and the kids loved getting messy! We prepared for our gardening session by painting our pots that we will use for our seeds.  Before lunch we got all of our energy out on the yard and closed the day with circle time where we read two books about the life of plants.

Today we enjoyed the play yard and playing dress up inside.  We learned that redwood trees are the tallest trees in the world and even used redwood branches to paint a tree.  We really loved reading about the adventures of Jasper Rabbit in “Creepy Carrots” and “Creepy Underwear”.

Today we got a chance to do finger painting and colored the earth using blue and green. We also played with play dough, and loose parts using rocks, beads and sticks. We also played  pretend play with dolls in the kitchen.

Today we had fun building. The children wanted to build houses for the toy animals. We also read stories in the library with counselor Amy. We sang the “baby bumble bee” song. We took a nature walk and spotted airplanes, clouds, and pine cones. We finished our day with a yummy lunch!

Today we played with LEGOS, dolls, and play dough.   We enjoyed the sun outside and splashed away at the water table.
