Signature Camps are only available at Camp Keff! Campers splash in the pool while learning valuable swimming techniques in our award-winning swim program. They score goals during sports, create masterpieces in art, and experiment in science. Camp-wide Olympics and Shabbat Fairs are so unique that no two sessions are alike. Add field trips, giant inflatables, nature hikes, camping trips (with s’mores of course!), and your camper will see why Camp Keff means “fun” in any language!

Ultimate Drone Obstacle Course

This program is specifically designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. This is week is filled with pure action as students enjoy one of the world’s fastest growing sports, Drone Obstacle Racing. Campers first learn about the basic safety of drone flying and the history behind drone racing as a sport. From there, campers progress through various skill challenges and learn how to perform various exercises and maneuvers to become familiar with the drone’s speed and agility. Campers use iPads and remote controls to navigate the drone through short and long obstacle courses. Participants also create the design and help build the the obstacle course in preparation for the last day’s final activity and competition.

Basketball
Learn the skills it takes to become the next Steph Curry. Shoot hoops and have fun while learning basic basketball skills and participating in age-appropriate games and exercises. Enjoy basketball in a non-competitive environment.		 NEW! Batman Master Mechanics using LEGO
Defeat Gotham’s villains by designing and building Batman’s most advanced crime-fighting machines! Infiltrate Arkham Asylum, build a Bat Cycle, and fly your Batcopter. Then use your projects to thwart the Joker’s plans to take over the city. Be the super-hero or super-heroine Gotham needs while engineering solutions through the use of STEM concepts!

Pokemania

Build robots, make computer games, and animate virtual creatures. Start by making and controlling creatures with the LEGO WeDo robotics system. Program movement using sensors, motors and software! Then, use Scratch software, code blocks as we make computer games to play at home such as Pokemon soccer. Learn about game programming, from using loops to conditional statements and score-keeping variables. Plus, learn how to make custom talking computer characters through the process of facial animation. You can make any image talk, from a dog to a character such as Pikachu or a Minecraft chicken!

Recording Studio with Garage Band
Learn to record, engineer and produce your very own songs! Campers record original tracks on real instruments, from guitar to drums along with electronic sound samples, loops, and drum tracks using GarageBand. Campers compile all of these components into their final songs. No musical experience is necessary and campers take home the music they create!		 Street Art
Learn techniques to create amazing pieces of art using spray paint, design your own stickers and stencils, style a t-shirt, and more. This isn’t your average art class; this is a workshop for anyone interested in street art! No experience is necessary and there is never a wrong way to make art.
Flag Football
Develop skills in one of the most exciting sports on turf! Every camper gets to work on their passing, receiving, and teamwork while playing in non-competitive games each day.		 JediCraft Survival using LEGO
Mine, craft, and build the Star Wars universe using LEGO® parts! Roll the dice to gather Jedi resources. Then build a Starship, craft Light Sabers, and use the Force to survive Empire attacks. This advanced Play-Well game using LEGO® materials is inspired by the Minecraft tablet game and the Star Wars fantasy setting.

Drone Escape and Rescue

Throughout this action-packed, creative program, students face off, taking on both the “cop” and “robber” mentality. Students participate in missions to either play the role of the escapee or the rescuer, all along, while attempting to outsmart or out-maneuver the other. Along with a friendly competitive environment, students work within their flight squads (teams) to conquer the challenge at hand. Drone games, missions, and concepts include: Keys To Millions; Spy Drone, Drones To The Rescue, Drone Pod-Racing, and more.

Video Game Design – Level 1 and 2

Learn what it takes to make your own video game! Working with Multimedia Fusion software and with an in class partner, campers learn the conditional coding necessary to make video games creations work. Level 1 starts with the basics and campers create characters, game environments and more. Level 2 builds on those skills to create even more elaborate games. No experience necessary for level 1 and level 2 just needs some basics, so if you attended Beginning Game Design in the past, this is the level for you.

Food Truck Challenge
Additional $30 materials fee.
Cook gourmet treats while working with friends to design the best menu for your food truck. Create healthy foods within the guidelines of unique cooking challenges. Campers will not operate a real food truck.		 Hip Hop Dance
If you enjoy the reality show “So You Think You Can Dance?” you’ll love creating exciting dance routines with your friends to perform for your family! Using a variety of Hip Hop music, props and dance moves will soon have you auditioning for the stage!
NEW! 3D Animation
Create your own 3D Animations! Learn 3D Modeling, including creating geometric faces, vertices, and edges. Design your own unique character while you experiment with animating backgrounds, lighting and objects/shapes.		 NEW! Engineering Challenge using LEGO
Are you ready for the Engineering Challenge? Learn to build mechanical devices such as a scissor lift, air compressor, or drawbridge in this advanced course for our strongest LEGO® builders. Then work in teams to accomplish a large-scale mission such as a minifigure rescue or a Rube Goldberg machine!
