Today the Tzahov class got to eat cupcakes with snack for Teacher Lily’s birthday. They were yummy! Then we went outside to dig with our friends in the sandbox.

Today at camp we learned how words can hurt others and how to make things right! We upcycled crayons to make fancy new ones, made pocket solar systems, and painted flowers while learning about Georgia O’Keefe!
Today at camp we mixed different substances in science to see their reactions! We mixed vinegar and food dye and added droplets of water to watch it change color! We made baskets from yarn in Art, then learned about Rube Goldberg and got to build our own Rube Goldberg machines!
Today at camp we worked on finishing our first comics! We learned about prequels, sequels, and how to create a continuation of our story! We worked in teams on new comics and continued developing our original ideas!
Today at camp we played Quidditch and had so much fun! Then we made dragon eggs and floating candles, which look so cool and magical!
Today at camp we continued to learn our songs: “Happiness” from the show You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, “Broadway Baby” from Follies, and “There’s No Business Like Show Business” from Annie Get Your Gun! We also changed a few lyrics to “Bigger Isn’t Better” from Barnum. We played games to practice our focus and started to make our costumes for the show!
Today at camp we learned about the Kibbutzim in Israel and built some using LEGO! In Art we worked on building baskets out of yarn, and made catapults in unit time! Lastly we made a splash at the pool!
Today at camp we learned about cars, and three different kinds of engines! We got to make our own cars out of cardboard and wooden dowels and tested them out!
Our campers had a blast painting wood and spray painting outside! We also did both sensory tables 🙂 We had a blast dancing with balloons, our campers already word our circle songs and it’s the cutest!
Today in Katom class we went swimming! The children did a great job listening to the swim teachers and had a lot of fun playing with the water toys for the last part of class. In the class room the children were guessing whether pegs or counting cubes made taller towers.
