Yomah – Session 1

To wrap the week up after our aviator overnight we played more airplane themed games. In art we learned about warm and cool colors. We then made airplanes and and blended the colors with our hands. Lastly we had a special guest who taught us some songs about animals. We ended our day with a splash in the pool and lastly a camp wide Shabbat.

 

 

B’Yachad – Session 1

We went on a camping trip for one night! We had a lot of fun in the great outdoors! We designed our own bandanas, played games, went on hikes, and learned all about the plants of the Redwood Forest.

Adventures in Art

Today in Art we made our own vases out of tin cans. We had a blast getting creative with all sorts of materials!

Culinary Essentials

In Culinary today, we made our own lemon cupcakes, with a delicious buttercream frosting! We had so much fun and our tummies are happy with our cupcakes!

Fizz-ical Phenomena and Che-mystery

Today we discussed the periodic table of elements. We played a game of Bingo to help learn the elements, and also got to make our own slime!

Gymnastics

Today in Gymnastics, we did a rotation of trampolines, a climbing wall, and a tumble and balance course. We finished our day with relay races!

Basketball

On our final day of basketball, we played some intense games of knock-out and competed in some competitive scrimmages. Additionally, we ventured into other sports, playing soccer, dodgeball, gaga and badminton

Batman Gotham Gadgets using LEGO

Today we started off our K-2 grade campers in building Gotham City using conveyor belts that ran on small motors. We then built small gliders that shot at our arch enemies! The 3-6 grade campers did the same thing, but also got to make battle gliders!

Ace of Cakes

In Ace of Cakes, we teamed up in 5, and made our own two layered surfers cake! We decorated and frosted it, using food coloring and our own creativity! We had lots of fun and can’t wait to share a slice with our parents!
