Today at camp we learned what timelines, tools, layers, and frame rates are in animation, and how to use them! Then we started making a five second animation with 120 frames, changing movements every 6th frame with our partners. We then created a new ten second animation, each of us with our own layer using two shapes! Finally, we created an animation with deliberate movements.
Today at camp we started by stretching to warm up! We began learning our first Hip Hop routine to “Hey Ya” by Outkast!
Today at camp we started the day by filling out our flight journals! We then learned to fly our drones through hoops, both inside out outside!
Today at camp we got to go in the bouncy house, make catapults, dance and make candles at Shabbat Fair! In science we learned about air pressure, and we also got to swim today!
Today in Wizards we painted sunsets, made edible spiders, played bingo, and drank bitter beer! It was a great end to a magical week!
On our last day together, everyone finished their comics! Everyone got a chance to present their work and bring them home!
Today at camp we made edible slugs and learned about magical crystals! We made our own vials of crystals and floating candles! We also came up with names for our own spells and played Harry Potter BINGO!
Today at camp we began putting the finishing touches on our initial comics! We learned how to export the comic into a normal media file, and some groups even started a second comic! Since we’re presenting tomorrow, everyone is getting ready and preparing. We’re all so excited to show you our finished products!
Today at camp we went to Aqua Adventures, where we went down the water slides, floated through the lazy river, and played on a water park playground!
Today at camp we mixed different substances in science to see their reactions! We mixed vinegar and food dye and added droplets of water to watch it change color! We made baskets from yarn in Art, then learned about Rube Goldberg and got to build our own Rube Goldberg machines!
