For the last day of recording studio, students get the chance to finish their projects. Using all the skills they learned throughout the week they each made an original track and uploaded it to our Soundcloud page to share at home.

B’Yachad – Session 2

We have been camping since Wednesday, and having a KEFF time! We went swimming in the lake at Del Valle, and took out motor boats with our counselors. We ate chocolate chip pancakes for in the morning, and ate s’mores by the fire in the evening. We ended up finishing our trip back at the PJCC because it was super hot out! We camped out on the turf field, and watched the Bee Movie under the stars. Today we took a trip to the lake across the street, tested out our bottle rockets, took a dip in the pool, and played Gaga Ball!

Today in street art we learned about different lettering techniques. We are working on making bumper stickers and lastly, we finished painting our murals.

 

JediCraft Survival using LEGO

Today at camp the Lego Jedi Craft Survival we started by making androids and then made catapults which we used to knock the androids down.

Flag Football

In flag football today we learned how to play king of the field. We ran through some fundamental routes and added new stretches.

Recording Studio with GarageBand

Today in recording studio we got an introduction in using MIDI instruments. We learned how to input our own notes and how to edit individual notes to create the exact sound that we want.

 

Parkour & Ninja Warrior

Today at camp we learned several cool Parkour moves! We practiced shoulder rolls, side flips, walking handstands and cart wheels!

Today in Street Art, we made a big mural by combining individual poster boards that we decorated with words that are meaningful to us!
