Today at camp we continued our journey through Israel when we visited a “kibbutz”! In Art we learned about primary and secondary colors, and we learned about estimation during unit time with our counselors!

Today at camp we made LEGO frogs and dogs! We even programmed a robotic mouse to travel through a maze!

Today at camp we learned to read tea leaves and watched some sleight-of-hand magic card tricks! Then we learned the magic of science with Diet Coke and Mentos and baking soda and vinegar! We even designed our own Azkaban posters and made Harry Potter’s glasses out of pipecleaners!

Today at camp we learned how to reduce our use of plastic! We learned about land formations from our counselors, and in Israeli/Jewish time we used our imaginations to take a trip to Israel and learn about Tel Aviv!

Today at camp we learned about germs in Science! We made our own bacteria using popsicle sticks and pom poms! In Art, we made name balloon art!

Today at camp we started our Hogwarts journey by taking quizzes to find out which house we belonged to! We continued by making our own wands and quills, signing acceptance letters to Hogwarts, learning Charms and demonstrating psychic abilities!

Today at camp we used LEGOs with motors to built RC cars! We also made Mars Rovers which were controlled by a special battery pack!

Today we got to create greenhouses in a glove! We had a special musical guest, played sports and made flags! We also got to make marble firework art with Katie! It was a great last day of session one for Kindercamp!
