Today was filled with so much fun! We started our morning celebrating Letta’s 4th birthday. We also got all our wiggles out dancing and singing with Teacher Tyler. We did some yoga with Teacher Mark during P.E. and finished our day playing in the rose garden.
We had another successful swim day! The kids enjoyed practicing their bubble blowing and kicking. They also practiced their sandwich hands and starfish arms. Everyone got into the pool with smiles on their faces!
Today in the Yarok room we did some painting while moving small balls and pine cones inside a box. We looked at leaves and flower petals on the light table with magnifying glasses. We mixed soil and sand.Our seeds sprouted a bit and we watered them some more. We walked together to the Farmers market and bought raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries. We ended our morning by eating them for our dessert.
This morning the Adom group started with free play (puzzles, doctors toys, duplos) before eating snack and heading out to the yard. Back inside we painted with ice (frozen liquid water colors) which was a new sensation for them. After that they danced with scarves and had lunch.
We had an active and imaginative day today. On the play yard we built boats for exploring the ocean in and restaurants to eat with friends in. We had fun with Teacher Mark in PE pretending to play in a forest too! We even made fireworks explode in water and learned that oil is lighter than water.
Today we had fun with spices. We placed various spices such as cinnamon shakers, on the table, with glue and paper. The children squeezed the glue bottles and shook the spices vigorously on the paper. They smelled and touched the spices as well. The children explored the light table today with a few leaves and some symbolic symbols of Havdalah as well. We played with blocks and drums as well.
Today we went swimming! We also played at the pool playground, it was a lot of fun!
We had fun playing with Teacher Mark today. We went into the jungle and acted out the “Jungle Book” story. The kids did the tree pose, bear walks, cat/cow (for the panther), and cobra dancing after hiding in their bucket. We also practiced jumping over trees and crawling under fallen trees. We finished the class with free play, using the volcano, scooters, and playing basketball.
Today we had our first swim for the third session at Camp. The children loved splashing, kicking, and the free play. We Also did a lot of free play inside the classroom with blocks, kitchen items, and in the library area. We also enjoyed soaking in the sun on the big playground after swim.
The Tzahov class had an awesome Tuesday! We made foam bead necklaces and dinosaur stamped with paint. Then we had fun on the yard with our room 2 friends.
