Today at camp we made water tornadoes out of two liter bottles! In Sports we played soccer, practicing passing the ball back and forth to learn the skills! In Israeli/Jewish studies, we learned about real-life Israeli superheros, and in Art we learned about Andy Warhol and made Coca-Cola pop art!
Today at camp we played handball in teams! Then we learned each other’s names and played team exercises! Then we swam in the pool!
Today at camp we made infinity scarves! First we chose our fabric patterns, then we learned how to pin the fabrics together properly! After, we learned how to use the sewing machine, including threading the needle and keeping the sewing patterns aligned!
Today at camp, group one began to brainstorm our own video game characters! We gave them background stories and places to live. Then we got to start programming our games! We worked with a partner to draw our games’ backdrops on the computer!
In group two, we started to design our code programs. We split into groups to brainstorm what kinds of games we wanted to make. Then we pitched our ideas to our teachers to get them approved! We finished making the start menus and characteristics for the first level!
Today in 3D Animation we finalized our 2D films and 3D project and sent them home to our families!
Today we spent our last day with a free build! We also were able to make battle bots and battle each other to see who wins! It was a fun last day!
In hip hop we finished learning all 3 routines. We then showed all of camp and parents our 3 dances at the dance recital. The video of the full performance will be up soon!
Today at camp we cooked for different dishes and served them to our friends and family. We loved sharing the results of all our hard work to end a fun week.
B’Yachad had a great time at the camping trip! We went hiking, played inside of a tree, sang songs, had a talent show and finished with some s’mores!
Today at camp we started off by making sweets like strawberry cream puffs! We chopped up our own strawberries and made our own whipped cream! At the end of our time together we decided our cooking groups for tomorrow’s cooking challenge!
