Today at camp we spent our time on a challenge activity! In small groups we had to move a tire from one place to another using any of the techniques we learning this week, like conveyor belts or catapults!
Today at camp we practiced flying bubble drones again and were able to do tricks while flying through the hoops! Later, we pretended to be firefights and used the parrot drones to fly our firefighters to save the day. Finally, we continued filming for our iMovies!
Today at camp we headed off for our camping trip at Memorial Park!
Today at camp we made walking robots using gears and motors! When connected to a battery pack, the robots were able to walk around by themselves!
Today at camp we warmed up by running through our old routine to “Hey Ya” by Outkast! Then we made tie-dyed shirts for our performance Friday, and learned a new routine to “Rock Your Body” by the Black Eyed Peas!
Today at camp we continued to work on our animation from yesterday and learned how to add props and audio to them! After our break we learn how to start using Blender, which is a software that creates 3D animations!
Today at camp we started our day by chopping up our ingredients! This time we made Korean tacos, and it was our last day making healthy entrees—tomorrow we’ll start making desserts!
Today at camp we started by continuing the project we ended with yesterday! Then we learned how to create and customize characters, and the ability to manipulate them in our animation! We got some fresh air playing soccer and basketball before returning to add background to our animations!
Today at camp we learned to weave around obstacles with parrot drones and played a game of bowling with sphere drones! Then we flew bubble drones through hoops outside and finished the day by working on our iMovies! The movies are about how drones are applicable to the world in which we live today!
Today was Yom Keff! We split into color-coded teams and made banners and cheers! We played with water balloons, did an obstacle course, jumped in the bounce house, blew bubbles and so much more!
