Today at camp we warmed up by running through our old routine to “Hey Ya” by Outkast! Then we made tie-dyed shirts for our performance Friday, and learned a new routine to “Rock Your Body” by the Black Eyed Peas!

3D Animation

Today at camp we continued to work on our animation from yesterday and learned how to add props and audio to them! After our break we learn how to start using Blender, which is a software that creates 3D animations!

Soccer

Today at camp we played Bees and Bears! We also learned and practiced the scissor and box moves with the ball, and then we scrimmaged!

Superhero Engineering using LEGO

Today at camp we built the logo of our favorite superhero! Our first big project had us building pyramids in the style of the batcave. Our second project used motors to make Bane’s Drill Tank!

Cooking Around the World

Today at camp we made sweet empanadas. We first talked about the apple mixture that makes the filling. It was made of apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, sugar, and water! Then we made dough using flour, sugar, cinnamon, and butter! We rolled out the dough, used a pastry cutter to cut the dough into a circle, and then placed filling on top! We folded over the filled dough and used a fork to seal the empanada closed!

Food Truck Challenge

Today at camp we started our day by chopping up our ingredients! This time we made Korean tacos, and it was our last day making healthy entrees—tomorrow we’ll start making desserts!

Gymnastics

Today at camp we did vaults and jumps! Then we climbed ropes and did rock climbing, and even jumped in the foam pit!

Preschool Yeladim Segol 7-31

Today we had so much fun kicking and splashing and having free play at the pool.
After swimming we played on the playground. We also had a lot of free play in the classroom and we played with play doh, legos, the doll house and blocks.

We visited Teacher Mark this morning! We played musical islands by swimming around and running to our islands to avoid the shark. We also used the parachute. When the music was loud we ran in a circle holding the parachute. When the music was slow we walked around with the parachute.

Today we played on the play yard and had fun with Teacher Mark in PE. On the yard, we played soccer, measured things in the water table, and enjoyed pretend play in the sandbox with friends. With Teacher Mark we pretended to swim and played an island game. We also moved and slow with the parachute and music.   We ended the morning with a fun circle time!
