Kindercamp – Session 3

Today was Yom Keff! We split into color-coded teams and made banners and cheers! We played with water balloons, did an obstacle course, jumped in the bounce house, blew bubbles and so much more!

Food Truck Challenge

Today at camp we made pot stickers filled with chopped mushrooms and green onions! We concluded the morning by making some healthy chicken wraps along with some chopped up carrots!

Cooking Around the World

Today at camp we made leek and potato gallettes! We started out by making dough balls out of sugar, salt, flour, and butter. We spread the leek, cheese, and potato filling onto the flattened dough and the folded the dough in before putting the finished gallettes in the oven for baking!

Superhero Engineering using LEGO

Today at camp we made two projects! In partners we built Stark Industries Tower! After, we all combined them into one tower which was taller than the room! For our second project of the day we used electric motors to make Captain America’s motorcycle!

Today at camp we made conveyor belts and built funnels out of LEGO!

Gymnastics

Today at camp we worked on our back bends, did an obstacle course, a ring swing, and beam walks!

Splish Splash

Today at camp we did water relays, first using sponges to transfer water between buckets, then using cups to pass the water over our shoulder and into the cup behind us! We then played a game of Red Light Green Light with a sprinkler. We ended the morning by having free time in the pool!

Hip Hop Dance

Today at camp we started by stretching! Then we finished our routine to “Hey Ya” and showed our head counselor! Lastly we played freeze dance!

Preschool Yeladim Katom 7-30

We started our day making unique name collages. First the children created a background, then the counselors wrote their name in glue and the kids added decorations to the glue. We also played a fun jungle animal matching game and listened to the story “No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!”. See you Wednesday ready for swim.

Today we enjoyed going to the garden and watering plants. Teacher Lisa helped us start a tile art project and Teacher Tal helped us start a tree painting project.
